It'll be filthy again in a couple of days, then next weekend I'll be doing a ride near Newbury that I'm sure will be a mud bath.
* sigh *
So much fun it's hard to believe it's legal, but all those pivots and moving parts need a lot of cleaning to keep everything running smoothly. Hence the *sigh*
ah.. for that I have some nice guys in the bike shop
*bats eyelashes
it's a tough moral dilemma among cyclists - obviously a well crusted bike will eventually seize up or develop an annoying creak or tick, and you can't just clean the relevant bit and leave the rest, that just looks ridiculous, but do you really want to spend a whole day cleaning, greasing and polishing? I find a quick misting with Muc Off followed by a hosing down and afew squirts of finish line (clicky) does the trick - a shiny bike should have a for sale sticker on it and be behind glass! Nice machine btw
