Christmas shopping with an extra treat

Went and finished up most of the Christmas shopping tonight. Our new
little nephew, who is 4, loves construction trucks and he loves trains.
What could be better than a train with construction trucks, I ask you?
We also got him the "Cars" DVD and a couple of the little motorized cars
from that. It's the little guys first real Christmas so he's getting
very spoiled, which is as it should be if you ask me. Then, we had to
stop at the grocery store for stuff for DH's work Christmas party
tomorrow. We went to a different store than usual, and they had real,
genuine Product of Japan Pocky. I had a squee moment. And I bought
some :-)

OMG, that Cat construction express train is utterly fabulous! I can't wait for Rick to see this - he will run out to get one for himself. ;) Ah, and wonderful Pocky. Hard to beat that. We did our annual self indulgence shopping today. I got a new tripod, gorillapod and a card reader (as in camera cards). Rick got another memory card and ordered a JSP maltmill.

We were going in just after a couple of dump trucks, but as soon as we saw it we had to get it for the little guy. Heck, it's his first Christmas with us as his Aunie and Unka, so why not spoil him. He thinks we're the coolest people anyway - Unka takes him to the trolley place and lets him drive (not really) the trolleys, and Auntie will play video games with him :-).

That Cat train set is awesome. I do want one! We are just starting to service 2 of the front end loaders like the one in that set. We're done with the dozers now.
Pocky sounds delicious!
