I didn't have a ride from Virginia, MN to Biwabik, MN, so I am walking. It's an overcast day, as you can see, and the temperature is just below the freezing point of water. Fortunately, there is not much wind. I chose to walk the bike trail instead of the highway, so i think it is about a 15 to 20 mile walk. I hope to get home before dusk.
My phone battery died trying to send this entry. I didn't make it home by dark and got a ride for the last 2 miles, but at least the first 2 hours of my 3 1/2 hour trek was scenic.
Enjoy the view! :)

I wore hiking boots, and my feet hurt today. I probably shouldn`t have tried to jog on the railroad tracks... :) Haha!

:-D lol, well, yeah, it was a long walk. I might do it again tomorrow, though, unless I get done in Virginia early enough to catch the bus, ( which only goes west twice a day, and there is literally just one vehicle.){correction:there are 30 buses. Only one goes the way I needed to go.}

That road north of the Ridge is hazardous at times, ain't it? Sorry to hear about your car, Brian, but i'm glad you made it out all right. Anton would have come back for you he you called, he thought you simply changed your plans.

There is a solid overcast cloud cover here :( The sky is just black & gray. I will check again later tonight to see if the clouds break. Thanks for the heads up! :)

(Never got to see the aurora :( ....)
