There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in
Mon pays, c'est l'hiver.
my dog blog
my Flickr photos, where my plants and fungus live
Wow, love the bottom picture. I'm thinking what tell tale signs there are where I live, but cant remember the last time it was cold (like too cold to wear shorts and t shirt)
thank you. There are lots of other things that tell you what the temperature is. These are things I can see before I leave home. Stay warm.
Love them all especially the patterns in the ice/frost. Now what could possibly induce you to go out on such a cold day when you could be huddled up to a lovely warm fire? :-)
All good
sprocket, I like your hat.
A dog walking coat is essential to late night dog walks. Everyone with a dog has one. It can be anything as long as you look like a marshmallow.
Jesson, I HAVE to walk Annie. Believe me, there are some very short walks in the winter.
I love that bottom shot. Fabulous.
Growing up in New Brunswick, I used to be able to guess to within a couple of degrees how cold it was by just looking at the sky. Sad that that ability didn't follow me into adulthood.
bfish, if you buy a new coat, you will find the one you lost. it always happens that way.
FANTASTIC *waves* been awat making cards & stuff :-)
please be careful when crossing roads with super warm hood up, i saw someone get hit by a big 4x4 because she just looked into her hood.
Great pics btw
like everyone else, i love your coat, but in particular, the hood. there's beauty hiding under there...i can see it.
FF, you are right. I have learned to lean out and check.
nige, I plan to hide for quite a while. :)
Great set of pics. I love, love, love the 1st and last pictures. Top Notch stuff!!
That coat looks soooo cosy and warm :-)
Beautiful frost picture - as a kid, I wanted a pillow made out of snow and was very frustrated when it was explained patiently that 1) it would melt and 2) there's no snow in London anyway.
rumanchu, snow pillows are such a great idea. snow sheets. snow beds. we'll find them somewhere.
Maybe the compromise is to have snowy white sheets with snow patterns woven in (damask). I have some sheets with feathers as the pattern and I imagine I'm sleeping on a feather bed.
or we will all have to check in to one of these ice hotels I bet they have snow pillows....
the hotel in quebec city is ice, and they have their own snow cannon. think I will stick to my own very comfy bed for now. planted bulbs yesterday and am riding my bike...might plant palm trees soon. going with the flow.
