There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in
Mon pays, c'est l'hiver.

Rainy & cold days are the perfect excuse to curl up in a comfy chair with a book, hot drink & warm blanket.
A lonely sort of photo, but very nice. Time for a cup of tea and a book. Or a good project.
Just stopped off to check up on things. I have not been near my computer all day, nor will I be for a while. Meanwhile, making good things happen, feeling happy, very alive and can hardly wait to finish up and get on with the next thing. I might even sleep tonight.
not a day for doing nothing. rain is not slowing me down. :)
Sleep well tonight! Below, a poem by anonymous, but quoted in Kenneth Koch, Talking to the Sun.
I Have Lived and I Have Loved
I have lived and I have loved;
I have waked and I have slept;
I have sung and I have danced;
I have smiled and I have wept;
I have won and wasted treasure;
I have had my fill of pleasure;
And all these things were weariness,
And some of themwere dreariness.
And all these things- but two things
Were emptiness and pain:
And Love- it was the best of them;
And Sleep- worth all the rest of them
Hey SR, I heard on the news tonight that it snowed in Mass. Did it get to your place? I know how much you've been aniticipating that first snowfall of the season.
good morning jesson. It has snowed, but only the lightest dusting, like someone shook icing sugar over everything. But now, it is cold, and anything is possible. :)
