they are very atmospheric. I know the feeling, sometimes you just *have * to take a shot, might not mean much to anyone else later but you can still be transported back

To be fair, camphones are great for just that. Too wet for the SLR....

That's a very good point Parabolichobo. I'm having a renewed love affair with the land-of-my-upbringing-if-not-my-forefathers at the moment and it does entail getting quite wet.

we get pretty wet in Yorkshire too and my rather tank like 6+ years old Fuji finepix copes with all that and doesn't tax my brain!
