9th Nov 2006, 20:41

char says:

I've stolen that second photo to have as my desktop cos it's awesome! My Reading pics were awful, although I did get a nice shot of the confetti!

In other news, I was readin old entries of the moblog as I havent been on here for very long and its mental! Like, what the hell was the "scoobies" thread that everyone was referring to? And what picture was banned from the thread? And Peaches Geldof??! I always knew that girl was super cool lol! Xx

10th Nov 2006, 17:16

Bound says:

Peaches Geldof?...*GAk* sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little... Hmm...These threads you speak of were all from long before I even came on here...wow. Back when I had a life. Oh, who am I kidding...

10th Nov 2006, 17:54

anonymous says:

the peaches thing is fine. i mean really. but she's 16 right? seriously *shuts up forever*

10th Nov 2006, 18:14

char says:

ahem, well yes. but that hardley seems appropriate. anyway, with regards to the rest of my comment im sure clara will have the answer. good ole clara, whom i feel true affection for Xx

10th Nov 2006, 18:20

char says:

sorry all. think it might be the red wine.

10th Nov 2006, 18:23

Bound says:

@Clar: Yeah, where is she, anyway? Very unlike her... I'm all out of red tonight, went a bit mad on it last night..:(

10th Nov 2006, 18:31

char says:

Eugh, I can imagine how you must be feeling. Hope you werent too ill and didnt do anything TOO silly, hehe Xx

10th Nov 2006, 18:38

Bound says:

Letter writing! Drunken letter writing! My boyfriend's away, so I felt drinking and writing was suitably self-indulgent behaviour in his absence. :D

10th Nov 2006, 18:40

char says:

bet thatll be a good read for him! Im particularly bad at the old drunken text...esp.about exes, eek! Also I met someone famous last week whilst drunk...Keith Murray from We Are Scientists (ok semi famous). Twas funny, I was talking to him about the Park...bet he loves me eh? Xx

10th Nov 2006, 18:48

outofvision says:

scoobies thread? peaches geldof? i feel like such a newbie right now! *sobs*
hellooo bound, btw! did you get my mail this time? x

10th Nov 2006, 18:51

Bound says:

LOL (can't believe I just said LOL...) Was he nice? Or can you not remember? Easy on the eyes though, is old Keith (I'm such a predatory female). I'd probably do the same as you. 'Hey, Keith, don't you think Paul Smith is the best lead singer ever? Wait..what did I say?...' :D

10th Nov 2006, 18:51

Bound says:

@OOV: Hey, your name abbrevs to OOV! How cool is that? Don't feel like a noob sweetie. You're one of the regulars now! Yes, I did get your mail, I'm just very lazy. And wasting most of my time on Scrubs. Sorry. X

10th Nov 2006, 18:54

outofvision says:

oov? xD amazing. i do prefer hella though! :P no it's alright, it's just good to know my mails actually get to you, haha!

@char: cool, hope i will meet keith [and maybe the rest of the band as well, ahem] too in a couple of days! hope i won't start talking about the park though :D

10th Nov 2006, 18:59

outofvision says:

oh, i love maximo park! leeds.. err, yay!
[sorry, my last post was a bit very much offtopic, i felt bad.]

10th Nov 2006, 19:00

char says:

@bound; he was nice! But very much like a little boy. Like I wasnt very intimidated and I kept hugging him mid conversation, hehe. He looked mighty fine when I got the pics back though!
@OOV; I too am a newbie...I was just reading back through some old ones and they're mental. No wonder Paul doesn't read this anymore!

10th Nov 2006, 19:06

outofvision says:

oh god, please stop calling me oov, thanks xD [POLLY!!!] .. err, i think i wrote some well mental comments and spent waaay too much time here, so i don't actually feel like a newbie, haha!

10th Nov 2006, 19:13

Bound says:

*Ahem* Operation Get Hella to Brixton...sorry, get OOV to Brixton. :P I'll stop now, I promise. X

10th Nov 2006, 19:18

outofvision says:

10th Nov 2006, 19:25

outofvision says:

10th Nov 2006, 19:28

outofvision says:

by the way, i'm listening to the demo version I Want You To Stay, it's so beautiful.

10th Nov 2006, 19:30

char says:

i think that song is overrated. but obviously still wonderful. hoorah my lift to the pub is here! goodbye everyone! Xx

10th Nov 2006, 19:33

clara says:

Here I am peeps!Ah Char-how lovely of you!Peaches Geldof...now there's a raw subject.Best consigned to history really. It's old news,so I wouldn't fret over it.As for "scoobies"I think that relates to a thread about Paul's pic of himself in which he says does he look like Vincent Gallo?
That was a very funny thread indeed as it turned out.Banned picture? Not sure about that one, sorry.Could be anything!!

10th Nov 2006, 19:34

clara says:

@oov -is that the vid I sent you?

10th Nov 2006, 19:35

clara says:

Oh no-Char's missed my answers to her questions..

10th Nov 2006, 19:36

outofvision says:

@char: you mean I Want You To Stay in general [if so, get out of here..!! :P kidding, i'm just slightly obsessed with it.] or the demo version?
@clara: good evening and no, it's not from the bbc thingy, didn't work out when i tried it today :( will try again later, my computer sucks sometimes! ["sometimes"..]

10th Nov 2006, 19:41

outofvision says:

oh, char's gone. i'm silly.

10th Nov 2006, 19:41

Bound says:

Aw, Clar, I can't believe Char is gone now you're here...How you doin'?

10th Nov 2006, 19:56

clara says:

@hella-good evening!oh I hope the vid works for you-try later.It's lovely..

10th Nov 2006, 19:57

clara says:

@Bound-I haven't been too well, since you ask.Hopefully my new herbal stuff which I'm getting on Tues will help.Bit mis.today.

10th Nov 2006, 19:58

Bound says:

@Claraaaaah: Just got your mail. Boo for the being ill still. :(
If only someone would post a new diary entry, I'm sure that would make you feel better..:D

10th Nov 2006, 20:01

clara says:

It sure would! But I guess Paul's been running around in small circles since the last entry, and has had no time to write a new one.
Maybe we should write one instead-you,me and Hella?

10th Nov 2006, 20:03

outofvision says:

i can post a new diary entry! :D [no i can't, i'm not good at writing! my "review" of brixton was full of, well..] hope you get better soon too clara!

10th Nov 2006, 20:03

outofvision says:

i think there aren't too many people on here who would fancy a diary entry written by the three of us! :P

10th Nov 2006, 20:04

clara says:

Thank you,Hella!Did you read my review on MySpace?

10th Nov 2006, 20:05

clara says:

Yes,you have a point there(re diary entry).

10th Nov 2006, 20:07

outofvision says:

yes i did! i got all nostalgic and whatnot. i miss them!
re:diary entry.. remember what i said about the white trousers when we were at mc café [you probably don't]? let alone that i said that should prevent me from writing anything about the park and publish it, haha!

10th Nov 2006, 20:13

clara says:

Oh Hella, you have a nice wry way of putting things!!It comes over very witty.

10th Nov 2006, 20:15

clara says:

I don't remember the exact words you said in the cafe.I think I was poleaxed for 48 hours after the Park's show..

10th Nov 2006, 20:18

outofvision says:

witty? more silly than witty, really ["it's fun to rhyme!" i'm quoting scrubs and bound's gone..] :P [and sadly that's mostly because i tend to have a hard time expressing myself.. even in german! boo.]

10th Nov 2006, 20:19

clara says:

Well it comes over as witty,Hella.
So don't worry!

10th Nov 2006, 20:20

outofvision says:

i'm thinking your mind went into denial! :D

10th Nov 2006, 20:20

outofvision says:

well thank you anyway!

10th Nov 2006, 20:21

clara says:

That's a pleasure!!

10th Nov 2006, 20:25

outofvision says:

i think i'll sign off now and watch golden girls on dvd! yay!
i'll be back! [!]

10th Nov 2006, 20:28

clara says:

Ok Hella- have a nice evening.Hope the vid works;let me know.

10th Nov 2006, 20:29

char says:

@whoeveer...yeah i meant i want you to stay i know i should just die...and as for peaches geldof...well. i think shes a legend, hehe. but i jus cnt believe shes 16 or 17 whatever. isnt paul like 35? lol. perverse. whatever. none of my business clearly and thinking of it the other way around i dnt think i wud like him posting about my sexual exploits so... Xx p.s. i read the vincent gallo thread, twas funny! vincent gallso IS cooler than paul smith...so ther :P

11th Nov 2006, 02:02

char says:

argh! wish you cud delete comments...also ive forgotten how to log in...god im so sorry. will go and cause some grief on myspace instead now.

11th Nov 2006, 02:05

Bound says:

Char: Tsk, tsk, pissed posts at 2.05 AM, eh? :P
I think Paul's 27...Christ, if he's 35 then he's doing bloody well to look like he does! *ahem* I'm not sure.
Peaches is so not a legend! I'll put your bizzare opinion down to the alcohol. :D xx

11th Nov 2006, 08:23

Bound says:

@Hella: I missed a Scrubs reference! Boo! Btw, your phone number should spell out CALL OOV. That'd be wicked awesome. :)

11th Nov 2006, 08:24

clara says:

@Char,would you like some strong black coffee, dear?MySpace had shut down for the night.
@Bound-yes,27.Forget Ms Peaches,she's moved on.

11th Nov 2006, 11:06

outofvision says:

peaches geldof & paul?! did i miss something?! weird.

@bound: call oov, haha, you mine like call TUR? :D i would do that right away if i could!!!!11 if only..

11th Nov 2006, 13:55

Bound says:

Hey, I missed your earlier Scrubs ref, so I had to make another one. Boing-thwip! :P As for Peaches...s'not that important. What did you say in the McCafe by the way...jog my memory...

11th Nov 2006, 14:07

clara says:

Yes,Hella,what did you say?

11th Nov 2006, 14:33

outofvision says:

scrubs reference = always good.

err, i don't want to come over as even more of a weirdo than i do anyway so i better don't repeat it.. on here at least :P

11th Nov 2006, 15:24

clara says:

Yes,OK.I know you're not a weirdo,Hella!Perhaps best kept quiet then.

11th Nov 2006, 16:31

char says:

*yawn* well they got rid of the spam! woohoo! but the comments underneath made me chuckle...shame all that wit is wasted. but hey I read it guys! Xx

11th Nov 2006, 22:02

Bound says:

@Char: Yeah, the spam sometimes has these epic nonsense essays attached...really deep shit, y'know? Most importantly, why do you not like I Want You To Stay. And moreover, don't you agree Acrobat sucks? X

12th Nov 2006, 09:32

clara says:

@Bound-Acrobat sucks?Sacrilege!
It's wonderful, the spoken word part is second to none.

12th Nov 2006, 09:46

clara says:

It's a very emotional song though,I guess that's why they don't play it so much now.

12th Nov 2006, 09:53

char says:

@bound; I just think that "I want you to stay" isn't up to par with the rest. The lyrics are good...but I don't like the melody. When I say dont like of course I mean relative to the rest of the album but I'd never skip it. As for acrobat...I used to think it was pretentious twaddle but now I like it. Not the second verse mind. Its AWFUL. But the first verse and the singing are beautiful. And I like the repetition of "I dont remember losing sight of your needs" especially 'cause its so simply said. Sometimes...I think Mr Smith to be a genius, and then others...I'm not so sure. But lyrics are my favourite thing about music so I'm with him on that one.

12th Nov 2006, 09:53

Bound says:

Meh. You're entitled to your opinion. It's a lovely bit of prose, but as a song it doesn't work for me. But that's just me. There's only one other Maximo song I don't like...and it's not even a Maximo song. :S

12th Nov 2006, 09:54

char says:

??? I dont like the cover of stray talk on that bbc sessions album...jesus christ I hate it. I DO skip that one. Xx

12th Nov 2006, 09:55

Bound says:

@Char:That put it pretty damn accurately. Nice one! X But when, oh when do you doubt the genius of Smith? Actually, I am forced to when he teams a suit jacket with a bobble hat, but that's about it. :)

12th Nov 2006, 09:56

Bound says:

@Char: Oh, God, yeah that blows. He sounds like he needs..throat lozenges. Or has forgotten how to sing.

12th Nov 2006, 09:57

char says:

yesyesyes! and also, it sounds like he's making up the tune as he goes along. I think was he maybe going for some kind of jazz lounge version? Who knows? Anyway, I dunno my opinion of Paul Smith changes a lot. I used to idolize him (and think he was well fit) as I love their music and I found out he does all the words etc etc...and then I saw them live and I was like he is amazing. But it seems the more interviews and stuff I read the more disillusioned I am with him. BUT he doesnt have to please everyone does he? Just has to do his job...and he's doing VERY well, hehe. Xx P.S Just to clarify, I don't hate Paul Smith.

12th Nov 2006, 10:02

Bound says:

I had a period of about three days when I decided I hated him and he was the most enormous twat on the face of the planet...Sadly, that was mainly due to pathetic fangirl jealousy, and I'm unfortunately back to inordinate levels of hero worship. :( He's got better in interviews; funnier and more relaxed. He used to be all like 'Pop music...emotion..blah blah...where we come from is important...blah.' He became a bit of a stuck record, although I adore his passion and emotional involvement in the songs. Phew, bit fucking deep for Sunday morning...

12th Nov 2006, 10:09

char says:

OMG, you know EXACTLY what I mean! I was watching interviews and I just really felt that the pop emotion element of the songs spoke for themselves and he didn't have to keep going on about it. And Im also a great believer that when you're into something because you love it, it shows and you don't have to keep asserting the fact. Its pretentious, and then when he says the thing about "being a defender for things with pretentions to...blah.." I just heard "I am a pretentious, inaccessible art teacher. Who is now in a band." But if he's getting better...maybe I will have unquestioning admiration for him after the next promotions tour. And yes this is a bit deep, but I love it. This is a justified disussion as opposed to slagging him off. Xx

12th Nov 2006, 10:14

Bound(p_bound-at-hotmail-dot-com) says:

Well, it's difficult...I mean, I don't know the guy, and so all I have is this image he presents to the media...he probably isn't pretentious. And he's a football fan, so I think there's a neanderthal aspect that balances out the 'deep, introspective art teacher' thing. :) Okay, I'm going to stop assessing the mental state of some guy I don't know on here, fun as it is. That's what email's for. :)

12th Nov 2006, 10:18

char says:

hehe, well since I am a psychology student maybe I will email you a psychological profiling of him *joke* I will send you an email though. Alas, when I dont have to go to work :(

12th Nov 2006, 10:22

Bound says:

You work on a Sunday? Sucks to be you! Yes, mail me and we will create an indepth psychological profile of some guy we don't know! Yay!. XX

12th Nov 2006, 10:24

clara says:

Ooh er Char, you should be a critic.
I don't like that version of Stray Talk either, but I love Surrender and as for Shiver....it's sooo lovely, and sensuously sung,if you know what I mean.I love the way he sings that word "rules"-it makes me shiver!!

12th Nov 2006, 10:33

clara says:

Oddly enough,I've never ever thought of Paul as pretentious, just clever and very original.

12th Nov 2006, 10:35

clara says:

Maybe some people perceive him as that, though I can think of far more pretentious bands around at the moment, but I won't name them on here.

12th Nov 2006, 10:43

Bound says:

My Chemical Romance! Yay! Cancer is, like, so cool and emo. NO. It's not.

12th Nov 2006, 10:51

clara says:

Yes,well I think MCR are rather an odd bunch.Quite sinister,in fact.

12th Nov 2006, 10:56

clara says:

Must dash off now,see you folks later.

12th Nov 2006, 11:07

anonymous says:

Are you girls really as lame as that? See, of course is it important where you come from because where you come from makes you the person you are.
Like you living in a small town and you're a really kind and sweet person. If your parents would have raised you in a big town, you probably would be a fucking pretentious arse.
The place you come from shapes you. The things you see shape you. Argh why am I care at all?

12th Nov 2006, 12:41

outofvision says:

i don't think he's pretentious at all. and i always liked him in interviews. hmm. well.
also, i never understand how someone cannot like acrobat, it's one of the most beautiful and touching songs i know, definitely.

12th Nov 2006, 13:25

Bound says:

I agree, it is important where one comes from. My point was that he possibly reiterated the same points over and over in interviews, ad infinitum. I just think he's got a lot better at that side of things, the Awesome Eddie Vedder interview being an example. By the way, I think Billingham is probably not dissimilar to where I grew up. Small town and all that.

12th Nov 2006, 13:54

Bound says:

Nice grammar by the way. :P

12th Nov 2006, 13:54

anonymous says:

if you got ask over and over again you gotta repeat. no realy chance saying: listen, I've already told everyone in this country. Shut the fuck up, ok.
that'd make him an arse.

12th Nov 2006, 14:21

anonymous says:

and mind your own grammar confused girl

12th Nov 2006, 14:22

outofvision says:

i think that's the problem, people ask the same question in most of the interviews, so no wonder the interviewed [err..] keeps repeating himself/herself. [oh dear lord, my english is getting worse with every word! ugh.]

@confused girl: don't you owe me something? :D

12th Nov 2006, 14:40

outofvision says:

oh, and what eddie vedder interview?

12th Nov 2006, 14:41

anonymous says:

phew, outofvision is bound then? oh my. Now I am the confused one.

12th Nov 2006, 15:05

clara says:

Outofvision and Bound are two different people. Are you Han,anony?

12th Nov 2006, 15:29

clara says:

@Bound-if you're there still,I've just sent you an email.

12th Nov 2006, 15:32

outofvision says:

if i was bound would i ask about which eddie vedder interview i was talking?! :D

12th Nov 2006, 15:39

clara says:

Exactly.I think anony is drunk,oov.

12th Nov 2006, 15:50

flowerpetal says:

@outofvision: I think Bound was talkin about an interview Paul did on BBC3 during the Reading/Leeds coverage. It was funny.

@Bound: do you have the interivew then? Have you managed to transfer it to the computer?

12th Nov 2006, 16:05

outofvision says:

the one with lukas?

12th Nov 2006, 16:19

flowerpetal says:

Nah, it was Paul on his own, he was interviewed by Zane Low and Edith Bowman

12th Nov 2006, 16:22

meimipop says:

I don't think he's pretentious at all, I think he's just so passionate about everything so he goes on and on with whatever he's talking about XD

I agree on the Stray Talk BBC thing btw.

12th Nov 2006, 16:25

clara says:

@Meimipop.I completely agree with you on both counts.Have you seen Paul's new Diary entry?I collapsed in hysterics when I read the part about his woolly hat looking like a trifle...

12th Nov 2006, 16:31

clara says:

The guy in the library must have been under the influence...

12th Nov 2006, 16:32

flowerpetal says:

I agree that library's are the new mental asylums - I have been accosted many a time in the library.

Once time a woman (I use that term loosely) sat next to me and told me she was going to become a stripper.

12th Nov 2006, 16:36

meimipop says:

That reminded me of the guardian of my local library, what a psycho.

Anyway I can't blame anyone criticizing Paul's taste in woolly hats, enough said. But I'm glad he wrote a new diary entry I missed readingthem.

I'm seeing them on friday btw!

12th Nov 2006, 16:43

clara says:

Ooh lucky you!Report back to us asap.
I'm sure Paul looked cute in his woolly hat, really.

12th Nov 2006, 16:47

clara says:

Some libraries give me the creeps.I used to go to them alot when I was a student, but have gone right off them now.Too many weirdos
and most libraries are refurbished and have lost their charm.

12th Nov 2006, 16:51

ariane says:

take care...
I feel so empty on this sunday afternoon it made my day, sad, I know..

12th Nov 2006, 16:57

clara says:

I felt empty this morning,Ariane, and the Diary made my day too,so I'm with you there.

12th Nov 2006, 17:05

clara says:

Thank you Paul, for brightening up our day on here!!

12th Nov 2006, 17:07

ariane says:

Sundays are great aren't they :/
This morning I received some news about an upcoming album (not The Park). Despite being all happy for at least SOMETHING it made me incredibly sad because it sounds like it's the closest to perfect the artist can get. Which means...what is there to come after "perfect"?
Not much I fear, for an artist any way.
And on friday night - man one shouldn't practically pass out at a Sufjan Stevens gig.
I feel all miserable. Could someone kick my arse please, so I can stop thinking..

12th Nov 2006, 17:11

clara says:

Maybe you're working too hard?

12th Nov 2006, 17:14

ariane says:

nah, it's ok.

12th Nov 2006, 17:16

clara says:

I've felt miserable today, for various reasons.Perhaps there'll be light at the end of the tunnel next year.I hate the month of November anyway.

12th Nov 2006, 17:17

ariane says:

"light at the end of the tunnel"
that nothing I feel I want to hear today.
November is bad. Yesterday was my great aunts 4th anniversary of death and I couldn't go and "see" her..I will do that tomorrow though, when I can go alone.

12th Nov 2006, 17:22

Bound says:

Hello all. So happy to see a new diary entry! He is alive and well. Good. :) Don't want to gush with happiness toooooo much, cos Ariane seems low. I don't know you, love, but hope you feel better. X

12th Nov 2006, 17:38

clara says:

@Ariane.That's why you're feeling low,I understand about your anniversary of death. My mother died in the wintertime and it is a sad time for me too.
I hope you soon feel OK,sure that you will.

12th Nov 2006, 17:47

outofvision says:

hope you'll feel better soon too, ariane! x

12th Nov 2006, 17:52

clara says:

Hello Bound, you sound very cheerful.Good day?

12th Nov 2006, 17:52

clara says:

Hella always makes me smile.

12th Nov 2006, 17:53

Bound says:

@Hella: Yes, he seems an affable chap. :D I mailled you, finally. Sorry about the wait...You should tell me what you said in the McCafe, too! :) X

12th Nov 2006, 18:00

Bound says:

@Clara: The new diary entry made me so happy!:D Also, I was in stitches in rehearsal cos the band were taking the piss out of my Park obessesion. Chris even did the B52's Rock Lobster in the style of Paul! T'was very funny. How you feelin' now?

12th Nov 2006, 18:01

clara says:

If you mean emotionally,Bound,I've recovered, but I fear I shall go down the slippery slope at any time, nuff said.Trifles notwithstanding,I'm OK,and keep listening to the LBs album.

12th Nov 2006, 18:05

clara says:

How was your rehearsal today?

12th Nov 2006, 18:13

clara says:

Que?

12th Nov 2006, 18:18

ariane says:

@clara
thank you

12th Nov 2006, 18:24

clara says:

That's no problem,Ariane.

12th Nov 2006, 18:28

clara says:

I'd like to hear from you by email Bound..

12th Nov 2006, 18:57

char says:

*bursts with delight*
I just read the diary entry and it was really nice! Felt like an insight. Although Paul really shouldn't do the laptop in bed thing. Ive lost half my life doing that...Xx

12th Nov 2006, 19:05

clara says:

I've never used my laptop while in bed, sounds rather comfy. Not very relaxing though.I'd be tempted to drop off to sleep if I used it there.

12th Nov 2006, 19:12

outofvision says:

@clara: glad to hear that, i just feel clumsy most of the time. :)
@bound: thanks for your mail [ABOUT TIME MISSY! :P just joking!], hope i won't forget the mc café thing in my next mail. [i won't!]

i'm kinda glad i don't have a laptop, i'm online way [that means waaay] too much as it is, if i had a laptop.. my social life would probably cease to exist, haha.

12th Nov 2006, 19:20

char says:

No, really Clara it's AWFUL! 'Cause you're just so comfortable that you can stay on there for hours. Sometimes I'm not even doing anything constructive...just posting pics on my myspace or reading old entries on here and then, BAM! It's 3am and I have a 9am lecture...what a joke. Xx

12th Nov 2006, 19:22

clara says:

@char,I can well believe that.Time can run away when you're online. It happens to me alot!!

12th Nov 2006, 19:31

ariane says:

concerning using your laptop in bed:
your back starts hurting after a while and/or your neck. and your legs feel stiff.
it's warm but not comfy, not to me. I prefer sitting at a table or something. maybe it's because I can't type properly when I'm using my laptop in bed.

12th Nov 2006, 19:37

clara says:

Yes,I agree, one should have the correct chair and table really.I haven't got alot of room here with mine, just about manage though!I've also got an antiradiation screen on it,and an antiradiation bar.I'm not paranoid but I find without those two things I get very drained.

12th Nov 2006, 20:00

clara says:

Ooh oo Bound,if you're there,no pressure, but it would be nice to get a mail from you!

12th Nov 2006, 20:14

Bound says:

Oh, hello. I'm shocked and appalled that Johnny Kingdom is not on Wikipedia. What an outrage. I went in to Hotmail thinking 'I must mail Clara' and then I couldn't think about what to write. What do you want to hear about?

12th Nov 2006, 20:21

clara says:

Weell,the usual subjects,please,Bound.I'm still giggling about Paul's "trifle"woolly hat.Found that terribly amusing.

12th Nov 2006, 20:41

clara says:

Wikipedia's not very efficient sometimes.

12th Nov 2006, 20:42

char says:

wikipedia is getting me through my degree! y'know whats funny...in my confusion and eagerness i accidentally put wikipedia in the bit where you put your name...coulda been quite funny. Also, I really understand the trifle analogy. After what I said this morning Paul actually sounds especially non pretentious in this diary entry. Xx

12th Nov 2006, 20:59

clara says:

He's not pretentious at all,Char.
He's misunderstood(sniff.)

12th Nov 2006, 21:02

char says:

He he he, of course he is. Like all good arteeests! Xx

12th Nov 2006, 21:03

clara says:

Ah,of course,how right you are!
I must shut down now,or I'll be on here all night.
Night,all!

12th Nov 2006, 21:05

char says:

night night...i think ill just take my laptop over to my bed...and rest it on me duvet...*settles in for the night*
lol

12th Nov 2006, 21:09

clara says:

....sweet dreams,Char!!

12th Nov 2006, 21:10

Bound says:

Oh...I just came back. Crap. Night, Clar - will mail you about..the usual. :D. Are you gonna mail me to continue the Paul psychoanalysis, Char? X

12th Nov 2006, 21:20

clara says:

Hello,I haven't quite gone.Waiting for your mail before I close down,Bound!!

12th Nov 2006, 21:24

clara says:

Psychoanalysis?Have you asked Paul's permish,Char?

12th Nov 2006, 21:25

char says:

I am...just oh so lazy. I'll move over to the bed, and then write you an email. But I am in quite a pro Smith mood atm. After reading the diary entry. But this could change any moment! My love for Lukas however is eternal. Xx

12th Nov 2006, 21:25

clara says:

Night night(serious,this time.)

12th Nov 2006, 21:25

char says:

hahahahahaha! Did Freud need permission?! No he didn't. I feel its my right to psychoanalyse people. After I've met him though I feel my analysis will be much more substantiated. Xx

12th Nov 2006, 21:27

Bound says:

@Clara: Night, love. There's some mindless drivel in your inbox as we speak. X
@Char: You so crazy with your Paul liking-then-not-liking...Ta in advance for t'mail. Nighty night. X

12th Nov 2006, 21:28

char says:

actually i retract that last statement. It's not my right. Really wish you could delete posts.

12th Nov 2006, 21:28

clara says:

@Char,will you analyse Lukas then? You should, seeing as Paul's going to get the treatment,it's only fair to include Lukas, you know.

13th Nov 2006, 08:44

clara says:

Someone psychoanalysed me,years ago.It was totally unnecessary.
(Someone who was a medical student).I'm still here,at least.
Won't have it done a second time-"Once and never again."

13th Nov 2006, 08:46

bananaman says:

It made me laugh when people said the guy was repetitive in interviews. They ask the same questions. Also, the guy's just being honest and he hasn't had media training like boy bands do probably. I've never met Paul, but he doesn't come across as pretentious in interviews, just a bit goofy and honest- maybe 2 honest- its not cool to be serious about music. I think.
Those diary entries r romantic!!
Cool Blog!

13th Nov 2006, 12:11

char says:

It's interesting you say that. I've been thinking about it and I think it's always been "cool" to be serious about music. Certainly in Birmingham. I recently met someone who said that they were a "music geek" (he went to Hull Uni) and I just didn't know there was such thing. Maybe this is because I have always been a music appreciator and always lacked the patience to learn an instrument, I may be projecting my feelings about musicians onto everyone else. But I don't think I am. Xx Is this too serious talk for the blog? I like it!

13th Nov 2006, 13:37

clara says:

You should be an MP Char, your views are worth hearing.
@bananaman-agreed.There's not enough good interviewers around at the moment.Colin Murray doesn't know what he's doing...

13th Nov 2006, 15:18

Bound says:

@ Clara: Agreed! However, he did try to guide that Leeds interview into the most homoerotic of territory and Paul was hilarious...and missed Lukas' blatant Peter Kay references. Despite that, Murray is overtly Celtic to the point where it sounds like he's faking it to get a job with the Beeb...Hmm

13th Nov 2006, 18:13

char says:

Hang on, I want to see/hear that interview?!! Where is it? I used to think C.M was hot til I saw THAT photoshoot with the CD. Y'know the nude one....hehehe Xx

13th Nov 2006, 18:24

Bound says:

@Char: Umm...the big gay interview? I'm sure I downloaded it. I'll try and upload it via yousendit. It's very funny. I will reply to your mail too, love. :D

13th Nov 2006, 18:29

Bound says:

@Char: Aw, crap, it's like, too big for yousendit. It would be cheaper to send you a disc wit' it on, rather than pay the $4.99 a month to get Non-crap Yousendit... I downloaded it from a link on the forum, like, a gazillion years ago.
ie. August.

13th Nov 2006, 18:33

char says:

Maybe I too can get it off the forum? Thanks for the help...and the email I am about to receive. Had a lookey at your myspace...you are in a band! Jealous. Xx

13th Nov 2006, 18:41

Bound says:

You probably wouldn't be if you heard us..:D Cheers love. X

13th Nov 2006, 18:49

clara says:

@Char-oh God I saw that photo of CM you mean, with the mic strategically placed?Eek!
Don't wish to know more.Shouldn't really talk about him on here.

13th Nov 2006, 19:41

clara says:

He puts me off my tea.Still I started it.

13th Nov 2006, 19:43

char says:

lol! Why shouldn't we talk about him? Just 'cause it's kinda off topic you mean. Honey, at 165 posts I don't think any of us can even remember the original topic. Xx

13th Nov 2006, 19:48

clara says:

Too right!Shall we start a new one?

13th Nov 2006, 19:56

char says:

What will it be on? Maybe, one of us should post a totally unnecessary picture in order to have a new section to discuss whatever we like. Xx

13th Nov 2006, 20:01

clara says:

Um,well maybe you could post one,Char? But Maximoblog would object if it was nothing to do with the band. You'd have Mr Smith telling you off..

13th Nov 2006, 20:10

char says:

ok...how about me in a Maximo Park tee? Cant get more relevant than that?! The band's name emblaisoned across my ample bosom?!!! Ha ha! I'm laughing now at my use of the word "ample". Xx

13th Nov 2006, 20:12

clara says:

Yes!!Go on then,we'll rate the pic.

13th Nov 2006, 20:16

char says:

hehe, nah...I'm all talk. Plus, some may consider this spam. I'll wait til I have something really cool to post. Or maybe I'll go take a picture of a pigeon in a train station. Modern (or postmodern) art? Xx

13th Nov 2006, 20:42

char says:

ah hang on...I see that's already been done! *dies laughing* Xx

13th Nov 2006, 20:42

clara says:

Do you draw or paint,Char?

13th Nov 2006, 20:46

char says:

No, :( I wish I could. I'm alright at copying something from another drawing, so I can draw cartoon characters and stuff, but I can't draw well from life and I can't draw creativly at all. Kinda retarded in that aspect I guess. Do you? Xx

13th Nov 2006, 21:00

clara says:

Yes,I do.I nearly went to art school as my father was an artist and they thought I had talent at school, but back then I didn't think there was any money to be made from being an artist.

13th Nov 2006, 21:09

char says:

:(:( BUT...you don't need to go to art school to do art in the same way you need to go to med school to be a doctor. Y'know, you'll always have your art and it can always be a big part of your life. Xx

13th Nov 2006, 21:13

clara says:

Yes,that's so true.I never envisaged myself being on this Blog, for example, with other arty-inclined people.

13th Nov 2006, 21:16

char says:

I never envisaged myself being on a band forum period, now I'm on two! Stupid bloody internet...

13th Nov 2006, 21:21

clara says:

The internet's great, but time runs away with you on it!!

13th Nov 2006, 21:24

outofvision says:

@char: haha i know what you mean! forums are always full of creepy people, it's.. you know.. creepy.

13th Nov 2006, 21:27

char says:

but now im worried that we are said creepy people. Xx

13th Nov 2006, 21:43

outofvision says:

WE'RE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111

13th Nov 2006, 21:50

clara says:

Seconded.
I've known/seen alot creepier.We're a sterling crowd on here,mostly.

14th Nov 2006, 10:43
