Recall a recent study of how little girls play with their dolls showed that Barbie/Cindy types dolls came in for the most negative & violent treatment. They were the toys whose hair was set on fire, the toys most likely to be punished for 'naughtiness' & so on... I understand the impulse; can't recall a time when those dolls didn't make me cross, even as a small child... ;)
