These are random moments in the life of an indecent designer and the city she loves.

I am a New York City Native.
I am a Design Professional.
I take photographs.
I also sculpt, paint, create mosaics, and play with weapons.

And sometimes, I even dance about Architecture.

As promised, this is the only photo of Nora I believe I have.

I didn't take it- I think one of her kids did. She had given it to me to use for a design
project (I was designing an assisted living facility at the time.)I'd known Nora my whole life. And in the past several years, though her mind was perfectly fine, her body had begun to become more and more fragile. She had help at home for a few hours a day, but eventually, it was safer for her to move out of her apartment (She'd probably been there for near 50 years.) and into a care facility.Though the people who moved into her apartment are very nice, it's just not the same. And now that she's really gone, I'm just very sad. :(

Such kind eyes.

She was a smart, funny lady. Didn't take any crap from anyone, either. :)

She played a mean piano. And for some reason, had a completely incongruous chartreuse lamp in her living room (that she kept insisting I should have, but I never took.)

She seems like such a wonderful person. I wish I could have met her.

And of course it couldn't be the one person on my floor I don't like... It had to be someone I like.

Just be grateful for her life and glad that she remained herself until her death
hope it was a peaceful going

What a lovely lady. It is very sad she's gone, but it seems she left many a memory behind, and had a good life.
