I would like to thank everyone for their condolences and thoughts. I will post more about Nora when I get home(at monster's now- have been since last night.)
I just want everyone to know that as much as I am really sad, and will miss her terribly, this isn't like it was with Amy last year. Nora was between 99-101 years old(I am uncertain, but I will find out.). She had a wonderfully full life, and there's only so much shock you can have over a death under those circumstances. I've just known her my whole life, and until about a year ago, she lived down the hall, in the apartment next to the elevator. She taught my mother piano lessons(didn't take- my mother isn't musical.). I have a relatively recent photo of her on my hard drive, that I will post later. Everyone in the neighborhood knew her. They are planning a memorial service. and i will go down there with my next door neighbor (

I suppose the best honor I could do her today is to listen to some Chopin.

I've only just seen this. My condolences, Elf. No matter what the age, it's hard to lose a friend.
