Thank you. And luckily that was the way down. Pics not really suited to moblog format, they should be blown up big but I couldn't resist as I didn't manage many camphone pics...

Yes it was and it blew in torrential rain which soaked us all the way back to the car.

I'm going to have a Welsh Tourist Board moment now and recommend the Clwydian Hills to anyone. I'd always neglected NE Wales, but it's a lovely little range. Even on a stormy day we could see all the way to Liverpool, the edge of Snowdonia and inland to most of Cheshire. Just stunning.
