The site specific installation in Liverpool's bombed out church is the first chance I've ever had to see inside. The roofless building is as impressive as the boats.

Hello, to answer the question, the boats apparently are a reference to Liverpool's maritime history (and present) and also on the latin words for boat and nave, which are similar.
