"We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered." - Guildenstern, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead

:)
It's not a Dom at all, actually - I just made it look like one by choosing this angle. :)
It's the Lorenzkirche, IIRC.
Elf: It's Markus' favourite dish - "Schaeuferla in Biersoße", pork shoulder in beer sauce, served with a potato dumpling. It's typically franconian dish, and the restaurant we went to is also a very traditional one. I'll take you there if you come over. :)
(I had penne in tomato sauce with olives and mozzarella, btw. It was also very, very good!)
So what's the difference then?
Is a Dom like a Cathedral, and a Kirche 'just' a church?
