Aparently it's loosing 1cm of ice per day, which is a bit of a bummer. beautiful place to visit though.

Nige; I think I'll leave glacial snowboarding alone for a bit. Worried about the odd fissure to fall down. There mountains 20 minutes from my house have great snowboarding from November onwards anyway!

I saw quite a few moraines, but not sure about cirques (although the Cirque de Soliel is in town!) or drumlins though. It was fascinating to learn about all that stuff.

Crickson. Alas we did the tourist thing and took what appeared to be a moster truck bus up to this point, so there were quite a lot of people. And annoyingly we were penned in by the little blue traffic cones seen in the 4th shot. Still, it was well worth the trip. Never seen anything like it!
