It's reaching the point now where they recognise me in the tea shop. Which is why I got free samples of Expensive Tea yesterday (in addition to buying a load of not-so-expensive tea)

I'm working on my own tea blend. :)

have you ever used the tea that is in slabs? what does it taste like?

mat says:

pu-er? once. but it was very low-quality stuff (eBay) and tasted like hot, red, slightly fishy water. Apparantly it's worth the effort to get a decent pu-er teapot and sourcing the best grade you can.

One to sample in a restaurant, maybe.

the crazy blue flowers are cornflowers, and there's usually a hint of peppermint too.
