2 Hour wait.

Food: Tasty, though the sides are lacking and the cornbread is a bit dry. SFW will be pleased to note they started this place in Rochester/Syracuse (there's two others) and they have Salt Potatoes on the menu. Jordan says they were awesome. The BBQ itself was very, very good.

2 hour wait- no joke. We wound up sitting in the bar section so we could eat before we gnawed off a limb.

Desserts were really wonderful. I had a strawberry/raspberry cobbler and Jordan had the chocolate icebox pie, which, (only New Yorkers will understand this) was made with My-T-Fine. I'd know that taste *anywhere*.

Was almost a fight, which is a rather longish story. One of the dipshit guys sitting next to us almost started a huge row with the busboy. I almost started a fight with the dipshit guy, and Monster almost made sure that the guy was going to be making a trip to Harlem Hospital. Fortunately, Monster thought the better of this whilst I was in the bathroom, and sadly for me, I was too far away to actually start the fight I wanted to(I'd have had to have gone through both the monster and Jordan to do it.) The guy was STILL a fucking diphit, though.

All in all, recommended, especially as Fairway is across the street. (we love Fairway, yes we do.) Just make reservations first.

Also? SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive than Blue Smoke.

Then I guess you'll have to go with me & the hubby. I took him to http://www.ashcreeksaloon.com/norwalk/default.asp to make up for our ribless BBQ. Was good, but always need more BBQ.

You know, I've never been, although I have heard nothing but good about it - it didn't open until long after I moved.

A girlfriend of mine who used to teach at Cornell would drive to Syracuse just to eat there. And I've bought their sauce at Wegman's and found it very good.

Salt potatoes on a restaurant menu? Will wonders never cease!

Next time you come up this way you should go. Just *make reservations*.

I figured you'd love the salt potatoes on the menu. I thought of you immediately when I saw it ,and the tshirts they sell say

Syracuse/Rochester/NYC on the back.
