Afternoon project: The box said that this antenna snaps together in seconds. However, it did not mention the 2 hours of attaching screws and brackets that must be completed before anything can be snapped together. Entire assembly and installation time: 5 hours. The good news is my dad can now watch tv without static. The reception is much improved.

We`re actually getting some broadcasts from the Twin Cities on this new antenna. Bad sound and really noisy, static-ridden picture quality, but you can tell it is ABC Channel 5 and CBS Channel 4. Plus, we`re now getting FOX on channel 21 in addition to 47 and both at better quality than with our old 2 antenna set up, although still not clear picture and most of the time in black and white. I wonder what we could pick up with a taller mast...
