Hee. Great series, Mat. I love the DOF on the top shot.
i agree with Geo. almost looks like a separate head from the dogsbody...hehe.
is that top one using your 50mm? i'd highlight that one if i could, but i'm in love with shallow depth of field right now. :)
the last shot is *really* sweet. NICE.
lovely names :-)
It's hard NOT to get DOF when photographing a dachshund :-). Lovely shots, mat. Let your friend know that a US aficionado of dachshunds thinks that Enzo has a quite beautiful head and lovely coloring. And Elvis, handsome as ever of course.
Two great portraits framing a moment of low comedy. Love it :) Arnold never got used to living with a dog. He used to stand and yowl until someone picked him up & carried him past the terrifying, elderly, arthritic, myopic, possibly deaf, rough Collie...
That's three great shots there!
Top one, d.o.f. fab.
Middle, tells a story.
Last, Elvis is NOT pleased about all this!
;-)
Silar31: Thanks for Enzo-compliments, I'll tell him. He's a pretty cute little guy really.
