My mother uses a wine glass to cut out scones too! Why is it?
They look tasty.. I'm sure she will enjoy them...

ElphsHouse says:

paintist, I don't know why! my gran used a drinking glass, which is less dangerous.
my mother lives in Montreal, so she won't be eating any of these scones, but she told me on the phone that she's going to make some today, too. and she bought a proper cutter.

paintist says:

There no Welsh in you is there...? My mum also uses an old wine bottle as a rolling pin, likes it better and it keeps cool...
