not at all ! couldn't feel a thing.

I agree with you to a point but the frown lines were a bit too much for me! I'm really happy with the results but the pics don't really do it justice unfortunately...

'bout 5/6 months. I'm a bit of a fan now to be honest... No point in investing in anti-aging creams etc when you can get the results so easily this way!

No chance of me getting carried away though!!! I don't have a son called Sylvester (rocky)! nor do I want one...

you can still move ya eyebrows yes - just not as much. I think I had quite an expressionate face anyway.
I'm pleased with the difference though. Look a lot more relaxed.

I've heard that people have had droopy eyes for weeks etc but if you go to a decent place you won't have any effects over than less wrinkles !

nicedoctor says:

hi all.

I wonder if there is interest in botox injections at home.

I am a General Medical council registered doctor with special interest in cosmetic procedures.

clinics and hospitals make people nervous. It would be very nice if it can be done in the comfort of home

It would be cheaper to do it. Remember No Overheads, No rent for the clinic or secretary.I am certain that It can be done at half the price that the clinics charge.

Im trying to see how much interest there is before setting up my service

SaharaSB says:

yes ! of course ! it would be a great idea.

I know somebody who does "botox parties" round peoples houses. This was my first time recently though so personally I wanted to know I was going to somebody/somewhere good. registered etc. somewhere to go back to if I had any problems etc.etc.

But I would say there was a definite call for home treatments. What I've been suprised about it the amount of people who are very secretive about having it done. Clearly I don't care who knows or what people think but there are a lot of people around who don't want to be seen in a botox clinic.

I think if you could combine the two you'd be onto a winner.

Alfie says:

Yeah, a friend of mine (in Japan) also does Botox 'parties', and for the reasons the nicedoctor mentions there's clearly a market for it.

I for one wouldn't fancy being injected with Botulism...but each to their own :)

SaharaSB says:

I think its a cracking idea... wonder if the nicedoctor ever made a go of it...?
