well i stuck em and grouted em, and cut my finger trying to smooth the grout. And it still aint smooth. Anyone know the best way to get the little bits of grout off the mirrored tiles? And how is the best way to water proof them? May be we should set up a mosaic help line.

I am working on a star as well....i had to cut tiles and everything....so exciting

the colours haven't come out well - never mind

Mr P says that a pan cleaner for non-stick pans is great for removing the grout as it's not too abrasive....
These are great BTW, are we going to see them in situ? and blog the doors as well !

You need grout sealant.

To get the grout off the mirrored tiles, use an old toothbrush and some toothpaste and water. (no, really.)

Poppet - so thats why the emails bounce back. Got them from hobbycraft at crown point. but have been trawling the net for cheaper and more plentiful supplies.

Look great btw, I was inspired by Barcelona and am planning a big "Gaudiesque" number on the garden wall (when I get about a month off)
