Consisted of a rare rib-eye steak and peppercorn sauce. Most delicious it was.

I have a hint for y'all.

Cottage cheese and roast chicken don't work together

Looks good...but was this from the same place as the crazily priced beer below? If so, how much did this little feast set you back?

archer says:

It was from the same place (Old Spring) and this delicious hunk of meat will cost you £10.95.

11 squid!? Feels pricey considering it's a pub, but then I guess it was a very nice steak (certainly looks it). Was it red (blue) enough for you?

archer says:

I didn't have it blue on this occasion, fearing severe indigestion, so it was just plain old rare and the chef cooked it to perfection.

The regular steak in the spring is about £8 but this was one of the specials so was a bit more expensive.
