Swamp- sure. Will put something in for scale in the next pic.

It gets to be slower going as you proceed, because you get to a point often where anything you add is going to shift what's already down 9but not dry.) Waiting for more glue to set up now so I can continue with it, but it may take another couple days to finish it. Then 24 hours of drying time (at least) before grouting and sealing.

can you stick your hand or a pizza in?

Something about this question just cracked me up!

Lovely work so far elf. Black grout, I assume? Should look lovely!

bronxelf says:

Black grout, yes. Goes with all the black trim in my house. :)

It's getting there. Slow now, as I have a migraine and everything is making me *really* nauseous, but getting there.

I agree. I'm cracking up at the "head or pizza" question.

It's a whole new way of measuring scale! It's one Elf-head high. It's half a chicken marsala pizza across.

lusciousmango(Faith) says:

Pizza's not a really good metric to use for scale, because NYC pizza is a whole 'nother beast.

Dhamaka NLI says:

Are you drinking enough (water I mean)...

17th Apr 2006, 23:50

bronxelf says:

Dhamaka- I haven't been drinking anything really othr than water. The last time I got good and faced I was in London and Alf kept pouring wine from that bottle of rose. Then there were muppets.

Swamp- Almost done now, I think one more sitting to go. Just one more area that needs covering, but I have to wait for this round of tile to set before I can finally put it in.

Then there were muppets???

I probably don't want to know...since my inagination is doing a fine job of providing teh funneh all on it's own...

Thanks. Hopefully I can pick up some black grout (I seem to be out of it) tonight and get it grouted when I get home from class, before settling in on my lighting homework and back to thesis.

Dhamaka NLI says:
