Dogs. Fiber Arts. Occasional Cats, Trolleys & Trains & Flowers. And other moments from my life that I find interesting.
**Motorola ic902 - Probably the best of the (poor) choices with Nextel for a camera phone.
**Canon Powershot A430 - Oh, how I love thee, let me count the ways....Primary camera - if it a good photo, this took it.

We have a digital camera. It's quite a nice one, takes much better
pictures than the one in my Zire, which, really, is only good outdoors
in daylight. Problem is, it is never available to me, as Don has it
with him most of the time, using it for work. So, we have decided to
take a bit of the tax refund, when it gets here, and get me a camera of
my own. This one, in fact - Canon PowerShot A430. It has all the bells
and whistles I'll need for a good long time, and it plays nice with
Macs. Now if Uncle Sam would just get on the ball with the dough so I
can order it..... Uncle Sam coughed. It's on order. Happy dancing should commence some time next week!

That's an excellent camera. We have two Canon Powershots of different vintages, both of which have been dropped on concrete at least once and still work fine :D

Thanks for telling me about your cameras, Euphro and yourhermione, it's good to get a review from other people. I ordered it this afternoon, now I just wait with bated breath for it to arrive :-)
