That for the phone?

Euphro says:

No, for the D50 :)

kostika says:

Ooo...shiny!

I want one for the D70, but I've yet to manage to fill the 512 I have even.

There are a couple of birthdays coming up and I want to make sure I have enough (with high speed shooting modes and all). I've filled a 1 gb card on my Canon S50 before and that generates smaller files than the D50 :)

I always have a spare, fully charged. I've sourced some very good value non-Nikon, D50 batteries :)

Mmmmmm, 2 GB!

Make sure your card reader is up to it, though. Mine isn't and I've had to order a more up-to-date 2GB SD-compatible one (for not very much money, it has to be said) :)

I jsut plug the camera into the computer, copy the pictures onto the HD then erase the card.

Very nice, but amazes me how much a square inch of plastic can cost.

I've got two 512MB CF cards for my Canon EOS 350D. A single battery just about fills them -- but it would be handy to get a spare. Who is your source for reliable non-genuine parts, and do they do Canon copies, Euphro?

You're bringing that this weekend, I hope?

Indeed, I bought a 512Mb xd card recently, cost as much as the camera :)

To be fair though, it was only about £35 :)

My supplier is here. They do batteries for everything and the lowest-price SD cards I've found (the 2GB high-speed one above was only £47 inc VAT). I've used them several times and found them excellent :)

Swamprose, I know what you mean, and G, I will definitely be bringing it this weekend :)

Many thanks for the link Euphro. Their MMCMobile prices aren't as keen as others that I've seen, but their Compact Flash is ludicrously cheap! And also £15 for a battery for my EOS350D is great.

You are very welcome :)
