Here we have Pike of Stickle gully, a chap fell 200 metres 1 hour after
i took this shot, he survived with broken ribs, as he fell on snow. Then
we have my three buddies (Barton, Sam and Patch) standing next to
Dungeon Gill Force, then finally 'mad' patch standing on a frozen
Stickle Tarn.

Wow, to think that Paul and I were debating whether or not to go up Black Combe (Millom). Jeez..... much higher! My dad once went up where you guys have been and ended up stranded for the night (in his teen years)... We still hear about it now!

I think I might have been to Stickle Tarn, pretty sure I have anyway, one thing's for sure though - it was not as snowy or as icy as that!!

Cloest I've ever come to the Lakes when there's been snow is walking up towards Fairfield when there was probably quite a bit of snow on top (judging by the gear people were taking up and coming down with) but we just strolled up Rydal Fell I think and came back before it got too bad.

Looks pretty amazing up there.

That looks beautiful! I've never been hiking/ climbing seriously in the Lakes, but I've hiked up Devils Kitchen in Wales - the view from up there was amazing, it was a clear sunny day so you could see for miles!
