seaneeboy says:

Is that him from fame academy?

A cock, he may be, but he's done a rude with fearne cotton, which gets him some respect, surely?

19th Mar 2006, 15:53

g says:

for me, too big a cock for respect, even for poking cotton. he smoked crack like pete doherty didn't he?

540air says:

Sean - Yep thats him from Fame Academy. Very nice lad it has to be said. :)

g - Thank you for your fantasticlly intelligent comments, your mother must be very proud. Is making judgements like that something your buddy Chomsky taught you?
A lesson I learned early in life, which has always served me well is, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Perhaps you should look into it.

And for the record, no he's not a c**k. Having met him and to now be working with him, I can assure you he's actually a nice lad with some talent who got dumped all over by the media. Most of the stories about him in the press were eirhter a) Untrue, or b) exaggerated out of all proportion.

I guess you shouldn't believe everything you read?

sorry for my language though

20th Mar 2006, 12:29

540air says:

That's fine. I tried to avoid mentioning that as I didn't want to sound like I was ranting on about my children seeing the language etc.

But the apology is appreciated :)

For what it's worth, I didn't really know who he was til I met him, but the press stories were mentioned so I expected a jumped up type, but I was pleasantly surprised as I said above.

if it is an issue that your children will see this then please go ahead and edit or delete my comments. i need to think before i type. seriously.

perhaps we could start again:

so how comes you are working with him?

20th Mar 2006, 12:48

540air says:

It's ok. It's no worse than a lot of other stuff on moblog, let alone the interweb!!

Short version of a long story as to how I'm working with him is that having started to get Chris Orbach heard over here, I have got involved with a management company and Peter sent us a cd. Like I said, I was a little wary, but we spent a few hours in a studio at the weekend and everyone came away pleased with the days work. The result of which being that he's signed up to be managed by myself and my business partner. Interesting times lay ahead for sure. :)

g says:

if you are sure :)

that is indeed very interesting that you are managing peter. the cool thing i suppose is that he already has quite a large public profile i.e. fame academy, cotton and crack which must all be a bonus. best of luck to you!

540air says:

Thanks g. :)

Hopefully all the stories (good & bad) will help to open a few doors.

Haha, actually, we could always use your earlier comment when describing him to radio stations/record labels. Maybe something like "Peter Brame - C**k no more!!" :)

Might not cross over to the gay community too well though!!

i would be honoured 540air to have a played a part in peters rebirth :)

20th Mar 2006, 14:57

540air says:

Haha, yeah right. :)

Cheers g, and sorry for having a dig at you earlier. :)

20th Mar 2006, 15:03

g says:

no sweats sir. i am still deservedly suffering fallout from my earlier foot in mouth uber gobcrap surrounding WNA and i don't mind that at all.

20th Mar 2006, 15:06

540air says:

No worries :), I admit my reaction was partly based on memory from the WNA things, so I should've been more mature than spouting off like I did. (You'd think that as a grandparent I'd be praps a little grown up, but hey)

Anyway, if the phrase "Peter Brame - C**k no more!!" takes off, I think a few beers would take themselves off in your direction .:)

20th Mar 2006, 15:11

g says:

i hold you to that!
