This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine."

"The grand show is enternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapour is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."

Thanks for the highlight!
That must have been the fastest clicky in the West!
You're welcome :) (This is a really great photo, one I wouldn't be surprised to see with a high "interestingness" rating on Flickr) :)
I've never given a thought to my Maldives photos before, probably because of what happened there. I only thought of this one because it went so well with the words I wanted to send Bmal.
I must get round to setting up a Flickr account. Maybe when I'm back from Argentina
You'll be disappointed to learn that there is already a Dhamaka on there, with an unused account :(
hmmm...
(edits) I really don't have the time anyway at the mo.. and with this I'll get back to what I should be doing!
'bye
Lovely sentiment...
Great pic too, 6 weeks two days till I'm in the maldieves :)
That is amazing! It's almost like it's so perfect it's been painted, reminds me of a David Hockney. What happened in Maldives or is that something you'd rather not talk about? Either way top pic, would make a nice poster! x
Congrats D.

It's a pleasure bmal, you might want to try this too...
Seaneboy, what island? You're going to be just at the end of the season where Manta drop their young - that's something I'd love to see but haven't managed yet. Go snorkelling with them if you possibly can, it's an unforgettable experience. And be very careful to rinse your ears out with fresh water after you have been in the sea, at the time of year you're going there are loads of plankton in the water which, if left in the ears can cause a nasty earache.
Thank you FF, Twiglet, Joker and Nix. Nix I'm happy to tell you about it but I don't want to sound like a bore on open forum. If you email me through my contact option I'll explain all *grins*
Joker - I don't think London is too bad at the moment. Not too cold to cycle and the last couple of days have been quite bright in between the rainy spots. :)
Noice. Great photo D! Those clear blue waters make me want to go scuba diving again!
:)
thanks Rare. Isn't it a little cool for that where you are at the mo?
