Are these all off your Panasonic? I'm torn between getting an Olympus Mu800 or the DMC-LX1 (that was the one you got, wasn't it?)

You are correct on both counts :)

Yes they are off my DMC-LX1, I love it, it takes nice shots and it is small / portable.

I would recommend it to anyone who wants a small point and shoot camera that gives you the options for fully manual.

I like the aspect ratio too

As a recovering alcholic I leave it on all of the time....

Not sure if its a gimick or not, I do leave it on and I have had hardly any blurry shots from movement, I used to get a lot more with the other camera.

It's only real down side is it gets grain at high ISO settings, but unless your going to be printing these out at full size you should be fine.

Just read the review of the Olympus and it seems ok, it depends what you want to do with it I think. They seem to cover different ground.

The Olympus looks a bit smaller and the weather proofing sounds great, but I prefer the DMCLX1 for what I use it for.

Have you been here?

I really trust these guys and they give really great reviews.

Thank you for the link, yes - those reviews are the basis for my comparison.

I'd go home with the Olympus...., but I'd be thinking of the Leica.
