If you're using lavaspheres glass application, I should be able to read it as I have glass on the N90 and in testing its been fine. For some reason I cant seem to read your embedded message though. What did you create it with?
Hi Alfie,
Created it with this site http://nfg.2y.net/system/qrcodegen.php which is linked to by most QR code sites and Wiki.
aha! ok. The code your generating is as you rightly assume, only readable by cameraphones that have QR reading software built in, which none in Europe (afaik) currently have. The workaround if you're interested in playing with them, is avaiable via the link I gave above. Lavasphere lets you create your own QR codes, as well as download and install their reading software, Glass. I tried printing your code above and GLass cant read it, so I assume it's a different standard to the Japanese QR format.
Cheers for that Alfie, i shall scratch the Jap version and use the lavasphere link, was interested as would much rather point my camera at one of these and get say, a phonebook entry without typing it in, but this tech seems a bit new in europe. Would be cool to set up a 'treasure hunt' and post these glyphs around (virtually or physically) to collect / unlock web goodies with.

me too, though when i get me a decent phone that can run the software alfie has said, Gaaaaaame On!
