it is bright and beautiful as it is. It does not need
to glow in the dark. Also, as pointed out by
BaggieBoy, what about the subsequent waste products?
I can't blog his following comment, too shocking for
nice folk bloggers

Looks tastey. Fancy some toast myself now.... think I'll be having marmalade though.

What does cactus jam taste like? Why's it red?

crickson says:

That's brilliant, but I wouldn't give up my Gin jam for it.

beth says:

mmmmmmm jam

5th Feb 2006, 11:34

FilbertFox says:

Gin Jam? Why have you not offered me some of that?

5th Feb 2006, 14:36

crickson says:

We'll get you some next time - it's lovely : )

5th Feb 2006, 14:43

FilbertFox says:

have you thought about the issue of waste matter after eating glow in the dark food? I think it could be rather disturbing

5th Feb 2006, 14:54

crickson says:

Glow-in-the-dark turds would be cool!

5th Feb 2006, 16:04

FilbertFox says:

but unless we eat a one colour diet the end result would be horrible. Or maybe we could eat meals all one colour and the next meal a different colour and try and get stripes. Now that would be a good party trick!

5th Feb 2006, 16:56

ann says:

Would certainly make it less easy for water companies to get away with not properly processing sewage. Perhaps diets could be regionally coded so we sould see whose waste was ending up where?

5th Feb 2006, 18:42

FilbertFox says:

now you're getting silly

5th Feb 2006, 19:40

JudgeTredd says:

Filbert - You're nuts mate! I love it!

5th Feb 2006, 21:10

FilbertFox says:

Judge Tredd - on what do you base your evidence? You can ask anyone on here what knows me and they will agree 100% that my sanity has never been in doubt. I am truly nuts!

6th Feb 2006, 10:03

ann says:

I was being serious!

6th Feb 2006, 14:43

FilbertFox says:

Ok Annie i agree it would be a very useful but what about trips to other areas? how would that be coded? Maybe we could have some sort of unique colour pattern per individual, so we get a distinctive pattern. Oh hang on, back to barcoding again!

6th Feb 2006, 18:22

Poppet says:

I am not going to barcode pooh!

7th Feb 2006, 16:17

seaneeboy says:

I had haggis on toast last night. It was yum!

7th Feb 2006, 16:18

FilbertFox says:

Poppet - but you have such a talent!

Seaneeboy - was it glow in the dark haggis? If not Dr Crickson will oblige!

7th Feb 2006, 16:24

ann says:

I do see the potential problems with regional coding. You would have to factor in a certain amount of background for people who take their own sandwiches when going out and about... Will give it some more thought, but I still think it could have its uses.

FilbertFox says:

and holidays? there would be the transition at either end (ew) when the old colour is working its way through
