Wheeee! Louise looks terrified! :)
I think that's more of a "Do I look silly on a sledge?" face :-)
It was really good fun to be honest, especially once we got the speed up a bit.
Sledging is great. One of those utterly unironic "just plain old fun" things to do - brings out the child in everyone. I wish we had more hills round here, 'cos we've got a LOT of snow now.
Louise looks like someone gave her coffee! Who gave Louise coffee then put her on a sledge??!! Especially clear in the fourth picture, Louise clearly went mad. There is no such snow spurred craziness to be had in London! Pah to you and your sledging fun!
good clean fun! lou does look a tad excited, but the best pic is 'a boy and his sledge'; every boy should have a sledge. we did attempt a short experiment in dog powered sledging when we were young, not to be reconmended! you got snow, no snow in Reading :-(
I used to have a sledge as a kid but now I wonder how. This place NEVER has enough snow for it to be possible now.
O man... didn't notice these pics... lovely!
Second and last pics are great. And yep, lou, you look silly in a beret.. LOL... sorry i meant sledge.. :-)
Looking for photos of sledging down the roads (too much traffic now not allowed) in Derby maybe in the 40's/50's
