Unfortunately I forgot to bring my zoom lens, so they were quite far away, but hey. I was lucky enough to be around when the 3 of the 8 local pods decided to have an orgy and formed a superpod. I took way too many photos of this, and I think half of them were just water, but it was worth it!

So. cool.

Orcas are one whale I've always wanted to see, and haven't as yet (unless you count what could have been a fin, off in the distance).

They are fab creatures. I've got another roll of undeveloped film with more of them on somewhere; i'll have to dig it out. It was crazy, there were about 50 whales bobbing up and down all over the place!

Dig that roll of film, out, please. I'll beg if you want me to.
