One of our friend from Australia said,
this is not even close to the real one.
But since I have never been to the place
I have to imagine, this is the Aussie sandwich
I guess it is bit like Japanese think
Japanese food in UK is not quite the same
I would like to visit Australia and try the real one though.

DAMN! I could go for a good Philly cheese steak right now... But I don't feel like driving up to Philly for one...

I usually put mustard on my cheese steaks.. What you see in that picture is from Philly. Most places that make "Philly cheese steaks" or cheese steaks don't put cheese like that on them.. They use sliced cheese and put the cheese between the roll & the meat.

Maybe that is why Australian friend said nothing like Aussie steak sandwich!?
Well, it's a festival food stall at the end of the day.
4 pounds and it keeps you going (along with beer) all day :D
