Pure Breed

Whilst standing in line for my train to Leeds I spied this Mother and Child pairing, He seemed to be fulfilling her need to have dolls still.

The wee chap was dressed in Louie Viton (spelt wrong? I don't care to look it up, let's pretend that it is fine) and a jacket which I assume is also "classy" (sic).

Get to the point I hear you think, ok, I shall! The slogan on the back of the jacket was "Pure Breed" ..... is this a term that people feel comfortable with? is this a badge that we want
our children to wear? I for on am not impressed at all.

That's really rather... repulsive. Brings to mind a friend of my mother, a woman who referred to some biracial children as "mixed breeds". Horrid.

"Pure Breed", eh?

Well the chavs can keep breeding among themselves for all I care. ;p

(And yeah, I DID get what it really means of course.)
