This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine."

"The grand show is enternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapour is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."

Tango at the Crypt

bronxelf says:

That's very funny. For *weeks* I've been meaning to ask you if you could tango. If so, I have a file to send you.

Cool - Love to see it. Do I get a hint?

I've been learning a few weeks - got to write a piece on learning Tango in London by Monday *grins manically once again*

Dhamaka says:

Had to listen to it twice..

It sums up the feeling of dancing with a really good tango partner so well - and the feeling (but not the negativity) sums up the way I feel about life too.

The only thing I've found that matches it even a little is clicky

bronxelf says:

That's one of my favourite songs. And *every* time I'd hear it I'd think I had to send it to you because it's such a perfect tango.

25th Oct 2005, 08:32

Dhamaka says:

Thank you!!!!!

Afraid I've gotta go now - deadlines

I had to look at the second shot for a goo dminute to make sure it wasn't some eye-bender done with a lens or a mirror.

Lovely, evocative shots though. Are you going to include them in the article?

25th Oct 2005, 08:36

Thank you Geodyne

It's just a panorama shot with my phone that went a bit wierd because people dancing just won't keep still

For my dance blog yes, but for Dance Today (actually a paper publication) I usually give the editor about 20 shots and she chooses what she wants.

Going to work now *waves* bye all

The top picture is wonderful!! So are the others. Will you continue Tango once the article is finished?

25th Oct 2005, 16:15

Dhamaka says:

*blushes* thanks guys..

You bet! I love it! Trouble is my favourite tango class so far is on the same day and time as my favourite flamenco technique class...

25th Oct 2005, 18:11

SweetMags says:

Hate when I have class conflicts, maybe the winter schedule will switch them up so you can do both. Tango is so much fun, maybe I should try flamenco never have given that a go. Although I have also been thinking about belly dancing they offer it at a yoga studio close to me.

25th Oct 2005, 19:32

Dhamaka says:

that's on the list too..
Maybe I'll find a nicely structured class on another night.. 6 days of research left..

25th Oct 2005, 19:33

SweetMags says:

Have fun! I will let you know if I find the belly dancing any fun.

25th Oct 2005, 19:37
