These are random moments in the life of an indecent designer and the city she loves.

I am a New York City Native.
I am a Design Professional.
I take photographs.
I also sculpt, paint, create mosaics, and play with weapons.

Oddly enough, I was eyeing those off when I bought my chucks in England. I likes me the houndstooth, I does. Unfortunately they were way too overpriced in the store I was in.

bronxelf says:

Yeah, it took me four stores to find them in my size. I wound up paying about $5- extra for the effort, but at least these fit.

What is it about people that when you *walk in* wearing a perfectly newish pair of chucks and say "I need x size" they try to convince you that "well maybe y size will fit..."

No, I need x size. If you *have* x size, I wont even need to try them on. I will simply take the lovely box from you and go away. If you don't have x size, I will go away anyway, but without the lovely box. But stop trying to sell me size y or size x.5. They. Wont. Fit. Thank you."
