The Path to Campus

This was taken the other day, the day that became one of the worst
days of my lives (Monday no less). I'd already had a rough night,
appears that I strained an abdomenal muscle during aikido but I really
didn't start feeling it til Sunday evening. So, with aches like an
arthritic old man, I made my way up to university, stopping for a
breather to take these two pictures (one facing down towards home, one
up towards the campus). As I made my way up to campus, a wasp landed on my arm and stung me
before I'd even noticed. Safe to say that wasp won't be stinging
anyone else: not only did I rip off its arse with a backhand, but I
took some legs with it... then while it writhed around on the path, I
delivered my fatal stomp and mercifully killed it. This was my first
wasp sting and while it wasn't as painful as I'd imagined, it's still
itching now :(Anyway, as if this wasn't bad enough, I later took painkillers to try
and ease both the aches and the stinging... in the process I cut my
lip on the blister pack of pills. It bled for nearly 20 minutes, and
that still hurts too... come to think of it, I still have the aches
too (which made me decide that aikido wouldn't be a good idea last
night). So nothing much has really improved 2 days on.
