Michelles 30th Birthday Fun!

(viewed 721 times)
On Saturday, I went to celebrate Michelles 30th birthday at the Watts house.

After all the hot and sunny weather we have had recently, it only decided to chuck it down with rain for most of the day! But when it cleared, I stuffed my face and had loads of fun with the garden darts! Those things are fantastic and well worth the investment!

Happy Birthday Michelle and hope you had a great time!

Last day at Stepping Stones

(viewed 723 times)
A sad day for me last Thursday as I left Stepping Stones after almost two and a half years! I have taken up the Extended Provision Coordinator job in Sheldon on a full time basis, having previously done the job 2 and a bit days a week.

It was very strange packing my stuff away and seeing my empty desk but pastures new await!

I will be sad to leave after making some great friends but I know I will keep in touch with most of them.

All I have to say now is 'Bring on my leaving do!!!'

Warwickshire in Twenty20 action

(viewed 716 times)
On Wednesday, I went to watch Warwickshire play their first home match in the Twenty20 trophy.

For those that know anything about cricket and this trophy, the match was full of action! Sixes galore, wickets tumbling and plenty of music to go with it.

Unfortunately, despite a good start Warwickshire lost the game but was nice to spend some time with Jenny and the family.

My nephew Daniel, really enjoyed his first ever game as the picture shows!

A Day off in the life of Tim

(viewed 661 times)
So, this week I have actually had off from work and think I may need another one to recover! It has gone by so quickly. Yesterday it was golf, shopping the day before and a busy one lined up for Friday so its been a crazy week.

Today, I went with Andy, Michelle, Fee and Caroline to the Snowdome in Tamworth followed by bowling. At the Snowdome, we went Tobogganing and it was fun. From Caroline crashing into a boy at the bottom to Andy spraying me with snow and causing me to spin, it was fun. It was so warm outside, so we must have been mad to go into those freezing conditions!!

We then went bowling in Tamworth and without saying, I won!!! I got a few strikes as the video clip will show you. I think I spent more money unsuccessfully trying to win Jenny a teddy! Missed ya lovey!

Anyway, I intend to make the most of the nice weather before I sadly go backto work on Monday. So check back soon to see what else ive done. Thanks and please feel free to leave comments.

Sorry, I put the wrong video on at first but Ive changed it now!!

Ultimate Events @ Alton Towers

On Saturday, we took our young people from Sheldon Christian Fellowship, to the Ultimate Events day at Alton Towers.

It was a fantastic day out despite the poor weather and managed to go on several of the big rides such as 'Rita' (0-60mph in 2.5 seconds!!) and Air plus several others. From the photo, you can see that I had a shot at the basketball game too, but failed miserably!!

In the evening, some of the biggest Christian bands from around the globe, performed on the big stage in one of the car parks. Thousands and thousands of young people from churches from churches up and down the country, flocked
to the concert to see the likes of Rebecca St James, Matt Redman plus the best band by far on the night 'Tait.' Wow man they Rock!!!! They could go mainstream here and do really well!! (see clip but turn the volume down!!)

For my American mates reading this, your rollercosters maybe be good and last longer, but ours are a lot more exciting (Reggie, you know what I mean!!)

Was a great day out and would certainly recommend you get to Alton Towers this year. Also, buy the 'Tait' album cos its top!!!

The pictures are of Michael Tait in action along with Rebecca St James.

The top video clip is of the Rita ride in action with the other of Tait performing and waving to me filming! Please be patient with downloading the clips.
