Cameras:
**Motorola ic902 - Probably the best of the (poor) choices with Nextel for a camera phone.
**Canon Powershot A430 - Oh, how I love thee, let me count the ways....Primary camera - if it a good photo, this took it.

Now you can see what JennyB really looks like now - this is a much
better picture of the Princess Face :-) I am going to ask you for a
favor in the next post...

First pic with new camera!

(viewed 1365 times)
It's finally arrived (and UPS received a nastygram for leaving an
expensive piece of equipment on the front porch within sight of the
street - they never even knocked) and I just had to check the macro out
first - some beadwork I've been doing here. VERY nice - color is very
true. easy to use, lots of bells & whistles. Expect lots of pics, people!

You know you are a railfan when...

...you get caught in stopped traffic by a train, and instead of swearing
about it like everyone else, you go purse-diving for the camera :-)

New toy, soon

(viewed 2237 times)
We have a digital camera. It's quite a nice one, takes much better
pictures than the one in my Zire, which, really, is only good outdoors
in daylight. Problem is, it is never available to me, as Don has it
with him most of the time, using it for work. So, we have decided to
take a bit of the tax refund, when it gets here, and get me a camera of
my own. This one, in fact - Canon PowerShot A430. It has all the bells
and whistles I'll need for a good long time, and it plays nice with
Macs. Now if Uncle Sam would just get on the ball with the dough so I
can order it..... Uncle Sam coughed. It's on order. Happy dancing should commence some time next week!

Altoid Smalls

(viewed 1918 times)
That's right. Miniature Altoids. All the minty goodness, but gone
before it get's to the "ok, burny now" stage. How awesome is that?!
That's a US quarter there for size comparison.
