**Motorola ic902 - Probably the best of the (poor) choices with Nextel for a camera phone.
**Canon Powershot A430 - Oh, how I love thee, let me count the ways....Primary camera - if it a good photo, this took it.

Immi EP!

(viewed 1211 times)
For the Imogen Heap fans on my flist - if you use iTunes, go get her new
EP. It's four songs she recorded live in Toronto. Absolutely worth the
$3.96 (what's that, about 2 quid?). The version of "Clear The Area" is
one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

My wishful retirement plan

Warm sun, warm ocean, lots of stingrays, no bloody snow EVER.

What I did...

while waiting for moblog:UK to come back (thank Mat Almightly, and
probably Alfie too!). It's a toe! Took me FOREVER to get my
all-too-literal mind around short rows - they ought to be called short

Tripody goodness!

Tabletop and 60-inch Targus tripody goodness, in fact. Yay long
shutter-speed pics :-) Also, yay clean pics even when the fibro is bad
and I shake!

Restoring the Petri V6 update.

Well, it officially does indeed work! However, I think the telephoto lens might have had it, as the photos I took with it came out very bad - all grainy and dark and weird. It might have been the conditions and sheer inexperience with manual settings, though. I definitely need to put a full roll through the camera with it and see if I can work the problem out before I give up on it. There pics were just taken to see if the camera itself worked. All I kept track of was if I was zoomed in or not, I just wanted to know if the thing worked. Next time I will be keeping track of the shutter speed, aperture setting, etc of each shot - yay PDA!
1. 55mm lens, no zoom
2. 55mm lens, zoomed in
3. One of the telephoto shots.
4. relatively close shot with the 55mm lens.

Yay me!

Playing with the color settings on the camera to see if I can get the
photos to look precise before they ever hit the Mac.
