Dogs. Fiber Arts. Occasional Cats, Trolleys & Trains & Flowers. And other moments from my life that I find interesting.
**Motorola ic902 - Probably the best of the (poor) choices with Nextel for a camera phone.
**Canon Powershot A430 - Oh, how I love thee, let me count the ways....Primary camera - if it a good photo, this took it.

Steam tractor video test

(viewed 589 times)
When stm4839 tried to send this to his blog right from his phone, it
failed in that the thumbnail came up but the video does not actually
play. I am sending it to my subscribed blog to see if it's a size issue
or something. Will add links once it pops up.

RE: silk and spindle

(viewed 670 times)
The silk from the sunrise post spun into a very arty yarn (ok, it's a hot mess, I still love it). Also, the spindle I bought, which allows me to make a center pull ball of yarn as I spin it. Brilliant. is where to inquire about them.

The silk I dyed to spin, and each morning I have had this view as soon as I step out into the hallway from my room.

On vacation! I'm at the museum just now as Don has a meeting, and then I am going to a lovely camp for a week of fibre art workshops and beach time. One thing I wish to do also is get back to moblogging - It's been a difficult year for me for many reasons and so I've been rather withdrawn in some ways but things are better now and I have missed you all! Expect lots of Maine pics this week :)

Autoharp goodness

Now that it's no longer looking like a dust bunny breeding ground (sat in an antique shop for ages) here is my autoharp! :D
