Welcome... to my very own, yet most likely undiscovered, part of the world wide web.

Featuring photos of my travels, my friends and the wierd, wonderful and downright random, everyone else has got one, so why shouldn't I?

Hey, thanks for dropping by... enjoy.

Brian Wilson #2

(viewed 1260 times)
More bad sounding, almost impossible to see video clips of Brian Wilson tonight. Yep, you really had to be there. Yep, I know I've posted the Do It Again video twice by accident. However, it's late and I don't want to delete it and send it again. Maybe another day. Enjoy x

Brian Wilson

Just got in from my gig of the year... Brian Wilson performing Pet Sounds in it's entirety. Performed to celebrate the album's 40th anniversary. The gig included a surprise hour long set of him performing some of his greatest hits, before a short break and then the Pet Sounds performance. The encore included a 15 minute set of Beach Boys classics (Help Me Rhonda, Surfin' USA, I Get Around etc) and some classic 50's/60's rock n' roll. It was a glorious night and one that'll live in the memory for some time to come. I make no apologies about filming Help Me Rhonda as the video clip either!! ;-) All music fans should see him live - a true legend.

Oh, those crazy builders.

Llandudno

(viewed 870 times)
I was in Llandudno today. One of the perks of my job is the ability to stop and have lunch in a different place each day. Just as the sun broke through the clouds at lunchtime today, I drove up the Great Orme. Some family friends of ours used to have a guest house in Llandudno and I have fond memories of walks up the Orme, along with a well deserved trip on the tram back down. I was most pleased, and somewhat reassured, to know that it's still there... with the driver taking a well earned rest!!

Fun Fairs #3

Another picture of the old theme park on Rhyl's seafront today.

Fun Fair #2

(viewed 1901 times)
Following on from my first ever post on Moblog; Today, in Rhyl, I stumbled across this disused and slowly rotting funfair. I've got a deep facination with old, disused buildings. I sometimes just stand and stare, making up memories to myself... recalling the screams of fun and enjoyment of ages past. The area has been sold to a developer... I'm sure an age of Englishness past will soon be 2 bedroom modern apartments, more expensive than the locals can afford.

Fun Fairs

I stumbled across this today, on the seafront in Rhyl. An old, disused "theme park". Fantastic to photograph. Wished I'd taken my proper camera out on my travels again today. Had it not been the middle of the day, I would have tried to break in a have a really good look around...
