Whilst there we spent a few hours taking pictures of Turbines
At about 2am we heard rustling in the tent... I opened up the hatch
but could see nothing... then I heard more noise and had another
look. I found this little fella trying to make off with a Chocolate
Eclair! I got the camera out and took a few pics, he was very
obliging and didn't move a muscle. I then tried to get him to leave
but he was not interested so I had to push him out with a rolled up
newspaper. Once outside he popped his little legs out and snuffled away.
I had not been camping in years but the tent went up easily and
without any arguments. The first night we had BBQ off one of those
disposable kits, but the second night we decided to get adventurous
and do some real cooking... We started with Miso soup, and followed
with Spaghetti served in red pesto with a Baked bean, sweetcorn, and
cherry tomato sauce. Dessert was Bananas wrapped in tin foil with
chocolate buttons and butter, these packages were placed on the fire
to caramelise.
When we finally reached the camp site it was perfect, A small farm
with a clean shower and toilet block. We were right on the coast
looking out to sea with our own beach! There was a mixture of
Foxglove and cows dotted around and every now and then a rather quiet
train bumbled through.

So we stayed in a pub that night and drowned our sorrows, the next
day however was uber sunny and it filled us with hope...
