Images of doom. Also, Orlando. With the occasional spot of metamoblogging. Because being recursive is fun.

Saturday's Auction

(viewed 1077 times)
When mightywombat moved in with me, he brought one cat to the relationship. We've got 4 now but Saturday is in a class of her own when it comes to smarts, personality, and gorgeous tortoiseshell furs.

So, when she had a corneal puncture and needed eye surgery to save the eye, there was no question. OF COURSE we were going to use our savings to fix her right.

And then I lost my job. I've been the primary earner while Ed is in school so this is a hit. Bronxelf, because she is amazing, created this incredible egg for us to auction off to help defray the cost.

International bids are fine. *ALL* proceeds from the sale of this egg go
towards Saturday's (Mightywombat's cat, and Onceupon's by extension)
emergency eye surgery bills. If she didn't have the surgery she was going
to lose the eye. And if you can pimp this via your twitterfeeds, facebook
pages, ljs, flickr pages, moblogs, weblogs and other bits of various and
sundry internet connectivity thingies, all the better.

There are eye surgery details in the comments to my post at LJ. I didn't want to squick anyone out. Eyes are a squeamish topic.

And thank you.
