Work is sending me to the Stirling branch for the day, so I'm on the train. I've just had a run-in with some PR ladies demo'ing the K700i in the station: cue arguement about the meaning of 'resolution'. Grr.

Fire Works

The end of the Edinburgh International Festival is marked by the largest firework display in Europe. There were some massive explosions lighting up the whole sky, the light diffusing through all the built-up smoke. Just feeling the hairs on my legs vibrate with the airbursts was staggering!

Walking quickly west along Princes Street, the sun glaring into my eyes: even though I was in a hurry to get to the Lyceum the shadows and silhouettes (?) were just too tempting.
