Last to Go

This tree is always one of the last around where I work to change color in autumn. It's also always brilliantly red or red-orange.

Changing Colors

(viewed 609 times)
I was initially a little worried that this would be a rather dull autumn, color-wise. Boy, did that turn out to be an unfounded assumption. This cam-phone pic doesn't really do it justice. Lot's of good ones on my Flickr page though, from last weekend.

Uncanny Almonds

(viewed 645 times)
OK, so, Salt & Vinegar Almonds intrigued me. Enough so that I bought them and found them to be pretty good.

Soy & Wasabi Almonds, however... vaguely unsettles me.

I'll still eat them though. I love wasabi.

I changed cubes in my office, which now places me next to a couple of interesting architectural... nooks? I'm not sure how to describe them. They're a bit like little balconies that you can't actually go out on. Opportunistic seeds have found their way, eight stories up, into the cracks. So I guess I have a little garden now.

Just checking

(viewed 684 times)
Just checking the picture message capabilities of my new (as of July) phone. Interestingly enough, I had to come here and type this in by hand on the website: the text I entered on my phone got eaten somehow.

Purple Fire

(viewed 754 times)
Sunset in Cleveland, Tennessee on July 4th, just before the fireworks began in the back yard.

Taken with my new T-Mobile Shadow.
