From the "Rainbow Horses" event in Sukhbaatar Square sponsored by the Arts Council of Mongolia. Kids from the countryside and from UB participated in this project to paint 88 horses. The horses were constructed by a ceramic artist from UB. And the number 88 signifies the number of spokes in a ger. About 2 minutes after the rain started, my eyeglasses were covered in water droplets. So when I thought I saw camels 50m ahead, I was sure it was an illusion resulting from poor visibility. (This is only the second time that I've seen an animal larger than a dog in UB.) These were part of an advertising scheme by APU, a local company.
