Packed Lunch Stack

I am becoming the regular 'little woman'.

I packed Stan lunch today, from bottom to top, we have:

- chocolate brownies for smoko
- lettuce, sprouts and tomato for sandwich
- ham and cheese sandwiches, ready to have lettuce, sprouts and tomato added
- sao and vegemite for a snack

And there are cans of lemon soft drink in the fridge.

Ta dah!!!

I made this!

Eh, felt so....GOURMET!

Marinated chicken skewers and roasted vegies wtih fetta, topped with a balsamic tomato salsa.

And then, when I served it, it looked just like a magazine photo...well, to me it did!

(I've not been a very good cook in the past and over the last 2 years have basically learned to like food and cooking again.)

Nods made this cake for her daughters 7th birthday.
It was in a birthday cake booklet that came free with our favourite recipe magazine.

So of course, the girls picked one waaaaay outside the square (shaped cake).

All hail the powers of the single working mum!

She did a splendid job!
