Soccer Johnsie

(viewed 519 times)
I played in the pre-season 6-a-side competition yesterday, for our soccer league.

When asked what number I would like, it was obvious! 7, just like Johnsie (Andrew Johns, local rugby league hero).

Belly Dance, Sir!

(viewed 621 times)
Nodda cheers, as The Heat gets up to give belly dancing a go. Fiona looks on, knowing that it can't be good.

His first dance move was bad gyrations whilst lifting his shirt.

That's what happens when Newie blokes try belly dancing in public.

Roof Story 3

(viewed 1170 times)
The re-roofing took 3 days.

On the night of the second day, we had a FREAKISH storm. High winds, and more rain than we had seen for a very long time. Big, hard, chubby rain.

And of course, the roofers had not put in the roof's centre cap. As a result, we had a water feature in the loungeroom. And this water feature was not particularly relaxing. A constant stream of water through the ceiling, via a little hole in the plaster.

Sheets of water came down the windows. And for awhile, sheets of water came down the INSIDE of the window.

Above, Stan frolics in the water out the front in the street, after the storm.
